About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Civil/Structural Engineer to oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning and design coordination to execution and completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project costs within budget constraints, supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and generating progress reports throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate should possess strong technical expertise in structural and civil engineering, excellent project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Duties & Responsibilities Design construction phases and develop project execution strategies. Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to approved design specifications and quality standards. Develop project timelines, schedules, and resource plans for successful project delivery. Determine and select materials required for each stage of construction activities. Source and coordinate the appropriate workforce, subcontractors, and professionals for project execution. Ensure availability of required tools, equipment, and construction materials on-site. Manage project resources efficiently to achieve cost-effective execution. Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and engineering standards. Ensure structures are designed and constructed to withstand required loads and environmental conditions. Maintain safe construction sites and ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations. Manage project costs and monitor expenditures within approved budget constraints. Prepare and generate project progress reports, site reports, and technical documentation throughout project execution. Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure competitive pricing and cost-effective procurement. Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues promptly. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure satisfactory delivery of design elements and project objectives. Ensure compliance with local and international engineering codes, standards, and regulations. Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. Master’s degree is an added advantage. Experience Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering projects. Proven experience in building construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects. Experience in project supervision, construction management, and quality control. Technical Skills Proficiency in engineering and design software such as: AutoCAD STAAD Pro ETABS SAP2000 Civil 3D Revit (added advantage) Strong understanding of structural analysis, foundation design, and construction methodologies. Knowledge of project planning, budgeting, and resource management. Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and engineering standards. Ability to prepare technical reports, BOQs, and project documentation.
